Nowadays, the stimulators on the market are mainly divided into two ways, in vivo stimulation and in vitro stimulation; moreover, they are made into different classification due to different stimuated area. In general, in vitro stimulators are used to help patients rehabilitate or do some therapies. In vitro stimulators are usually a open-loop system, which stimulates a specified area with a setup condition, like amplitude, frequency, and time. On the other hand, in vivo stimulators are in different classification, which are for different organs' exclusive use; for example, heart stimulators, epilepsy stimulators and PD(Parkinson's disease) stimulators. These kinds of stimulators are also designed as an open-loop system, to do specified stimulation.

To put it simply, the existing stimulators are all in area-oriented design due to different target area; however, this kind of design cannot adjust to different organs. Besides, in vitro stimulators are usually bulky, which is not portable. Moreover, these existing stimulators, no matter in vivo one or in vitro one, are lack of close-loop feedback, so when the users try to adjust a proper stimulating time, amplitude and frequency, it needs to take past experience as reference, which is very inefficient. Also, their user interface are not quite friendly.

 

 

In this invention, a stimulator is designed to be not only in vivo but also in vitro, and it can be used in different target area. This stimulator has both open-loop and close-loop system, as well as AI machine learning function, which can automatically adjust parameters to each user. Meanwhile, its friendly user interface on APP makes doctors and nursing staff more easily and safely to do therapies for patients.
